About the Authors and Illustrator

Amelia is currently a seven year old in second grade. Her hobbies include learning about animals from all time periods, and computer coding.

One day when Amelia was six years old and immersed in imaginative pretend play. Elaine thought the story Amelia had come up with was so creative that she wrote it down, and that is when Millie the Rat was born. Elaine's hobbies include spending time with Amelia, and traditional French Quarter music. 

Ivory is a visual development and illustration artist. She is a fan of medieval weapons, Han Fu (traditional Chinese clothing) and Asian food. She enjoys researching other cultures and time periods, which makes her the perfect artist for Millie and her adventures.
